Free Wellbeing Festival for Unpaid Carers
Created: 22/07/2026Enjoy a free weekend of wellbeing, nature and family fun for unpaid carers across Fife at Dunnikier Country Park!
Take a break, reconnect with nature and enjoy a weekend designed especially to celebrate and support unpaid carers across Fife.
Whether you care for a partner, parent, child, friend or neighbour because they couldn't manage without your help due to illness, disability, mental ill health, addiction or older age, this event is for you. Many people don't think of themselves as carers - but if this sounds like you, they'd love to welcome you.
Fife Voluntary Action will also be there - please come and say hello and find out more about our Time To Live and Respitality grants!
Activities
Across the weekend you'll find a fantastic range of free activities, wellbeing experiences, family fun and opportunities to relax, meet others and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Dunnikier Country Park.
A free BBQ will be available for everyone attending on Saturday and Sunday.
Some activities have limited spaces and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

The Carers Connecting with Nature Wellbeing Festival has been created to recognise, thank and celebrate the incredible contribution unpaid carers make across Fife every day.
Caring for someone else often means putting your own wellbeing last. This weekend is an opportunity to slow down, spend time in nature, try something new, enjoy quality time with family and take some well-deserved time for yourself.
The festival is brought to you by Dunnikier Park Community Golf and Dunnikier Country Park Development Group, in partnership with the Fife Health & Social Care Partnership.
