Fife Communities Climate Action Network (FCCAN) and their partners are supporting local people to take climate action int heir own communities with a collective £145,000.

Grants are open to all community groups based or working in Fife on climate-related projects.

Funding is available for projects of all sizes, from early-stage ideas to ambitious climate adaptation schemes. If your organisation is planning work that supports communities, enhances biodiversity, and helps respond to climate change, don’t miss the chance to apply.

    There are three funds available:

    1. For larger, place-based projects, Climate Adaptation Grants of £2,500–£20,000 will support practical initiatives that help communities respond to climate change.
    2. Funding of up to £750 decided in-person at the exciting FCCAN SOUP event, where community groups pitch their ideas and local people vote for the projects they’d like to see funded.
    3. Seed & Development Grants of up to £2,500 are available for organisations ready to expand successful projects, develop climate action plans, build volunteer capacity or invest in equipment and infrastructure that will increase their community impact.

    Who can apply?

All Funding Programmes are open to constituted, non-profit community organisations based and working in Fife that are members of the Fife Communities Climate Action Network (FCCAN), with free membership available for eligible groups.

They aim to make the funding accessible, fair for all to apply, be supportive of your needs and help your community ideas turn into action. Please read the guidance for each of the funding tiers ensuring you are applying for the correct grant.
