DataKirk has opened nominations for the 2026 Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Awards (SEMTA).

The awards recognise organisations across Scotland driving measurable, evidenced progress for ethnic minority communities. There are ten categories, including Third Sector & Community Impact, Health Equity & Wellbeing, Education & Employability, and Excellence in Sport & Inclusion.

Every nomination is independently judged and scored out of 100, with a minimum qualifying score of 60, grassroots organisations and large institutions are assessed against the same outcome‑based criteria. Self‑nominations are accepted.

Fife‑based charities, social enterprises, businesses and public sector teams are encouraged to apply.

The awards ceremony takes place in October 2026.

Organisations can submit a nomination here.

Nominations close on Monday 06 July 2026, with the shortlist announced in September.
