Coach Approach is simply a way to have a different type of conversation with someone. It may be used in one-to-one conversations, such as supervision, or to support team building, group work or in conversations with the people we are supporting and in our communities. It encourages active listening and an open and enabling style of communication that encourages everyone to feel they can participate more.
Who should attend?
Currently, priority is for those who are in supervisory/line management roles.
If you can answer 'YES' to the following questions, then you are eligible to apply for a place:
- Do you work for Fife Health and Social Care Partnership? (you may be employed by Fife Council, NHS Fife or an Independent or Voluntary Organisation who provides services in Fife)
- Are you in a line manager or supervisor role?
- Can you commit to the 2 full days training for the course you are applying for?
Currently, each course consists of 2 full days training. You MUST be able to attend both sessions in the Group. The next course is:
- Wednesday 03 and 10 June 2026 (Bankhead, Glenrothes)
