It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

In this first session of a two-part 'Tackling Inequalities' series, Fathers Network Scotland is focusing on Tayside.

Dundee City experiences some of the most severe health inequalities in Scotland.

Men in deprived communities experience disproportionately high rates of suicide, drug-related deaths, homelessness, criminal justice involvement, and untreated mental health conditions.

Fatherhood can provide men with the drive necessary to make healthier choices. However, becoming a dad can also increase the risk of poor mental health and a tendency towards unhealthy behaviours as a means of coping.

To explore how we can better support these fathers, you'll be joined by Newfield Medical Group, YMCA Tayside, and Dads Rock, who will share how they are building networks and tailored interventions to meet the complex needs of dads in the city, demonstrating that even in the face of deep-rooted inequality, no dad should be left to navigate these challenges alone.
