Want to develop a volunteer programme, or refresh an existing one? Join a one-to-one surgery with an inclusive volunteering expert!
Join Make Your Mark for a friendly, informal session designed especially for history, culture and nature organisations to explore making their volunteer programme more inclusive.
Hosted by Erin Burke, Make Your Mark Campaign Coordinator, these informal sessions are tailored to you. Whether you’re starting out or developing existing opportunities, you can chat through ideas, challenges and practical next steps.
They can cover anything from involving marginalised communities and removing barriers to participation, to designing flexible roles and supporting volunteer wellbeing. There’s also space to talk about recruitment, reasonable adjustments, safeguarding and what helps volunteers feel welcomed and valued.
Bring your questions or simply come for a supportive conversation! This is your time to reflect, problem solve and build confidence in your inclusive volunteering approach.
There are sessions on May 19, 20 and 21. Each session lasts 30 minutes.
