    Created: 08/04/2026
    News/Events Category: Consultations
This item will show under the following categories: Children and Families   Health and Social Care

For 50 years, Children's Health Scotland has been listening to what matters most to children and young people about their health and their rights.

This year, they are undertaking their biggest survey ever to understand what health rights look like in 2026 - in hospitals, schools, homes, clinics, and communities.

The insights they gather will shape the priorities of their Health Rights Defenders and strengthen their voice as they work with decision-makers and services across the country.

There are a range of surveys, open to lots of different groups of people:

    • Children and young people
    • Parents/carers (trusted adults)
    • Health professionals
    • Local authorities
    • Health boards and child health commissioners
    • Education staff
    • Schools can have children engage by using thee free resource known as our Health Rights Power Pack – perfect if you are working toward your Rights Respecting School Award.
