Their Development Team works together to provide a high-quality new build inspection service for the Kingdom Group. To support this vital work, they're recruiting for a Construction Inspector.

    The role

    As a Construction Inspector, you will:

    • Champion quality and design excellence by working closely with the development team to ensure their new homes meet the highest standards throughout the entire development programme
    • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and with external construction partners to understand customer expectations and drive continuous service improvements, producing monthly progress and inspection reports
    • Carry out detailed inspections at all stages of construction, monitoring progress, ensuring full compliance with specifications and regulations, and promptly communicating any delays, risks, or concern
    •  Promote a strong health and safety culture by adhering to all policies and procedures, following risk control measures, using equipment safely, and reporting any safety incidents, hazards, or breaches appropriately

    About you

    They're looking for someone who has: 

    • HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject or relevant technical or trade experience of working within a similar role
    • Membership of Institute of Clerk of Works and Construction Inspectorate or other relevant body or willingness to work towards
    • CSCS card at Gold Card or above, or ability to obtain one
    • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Knowledge of building standards and procedures
    • Knowledge of health and safety/CDM legislation
    • Knowledge and understanding of building materials and construction methods
    • Awareness of net zero targets and energy efficiency requirements in new homes
    • Strong digital skills
    • Ability to analyse and interpret data
    • Stakeholder management skills
