    Hours: 2 hours per week
    Salary: £17.50 per hour 
    Location: Wellsgreen Golf Centre, Kirkcaldy

     

    Golf in Society provide people living with a chronic illness the opportunity to improve their wellbeing at their local golf club. 

    They help families living with dementia, Parkinson's, stroke rehabilitation, loneliness, depression, and many more age-related illnesses. Their golf sessions also provide unpaid carers with vital respite time. 

    Research proves that their sessions have a significant impact on the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of participants. All this makes for a highly rewarding opportunity to be part of their social mission. 

    What is a Community Golf Activator (CGA)?

    CGAs are responsible for: 

    • The organisation and delivery of weekly golf sessions 
    • Recruitment of new members
    • Inspiring new volunteers
    • Being a kind, compassionate, and respected member of the community
