The Clark Foundation give grants to community projects in places where Clarks' employees live and work.

They give grants for capital projects, equipment and start-ups, awarding around £400,000 to 60+ organisations and community groups each year.

They award small grants of up to £1,000 all year round and have a committee that meets quarterly to review applications for grants for over £1,000.

They favour projects in places where significant numbers of Clarks' employees, pensioners and their families are likely to live in work, so in Fife this would apply to residents of Dunfermline and the local area.

Clark Foundation fund organisations and groups that provide at least one of the following:

    • Health and wellbeing
    • Village halls and community centres
    • Countryside
    • The arts
    • Heritage and churches
    • Education
    • Youth groups
    • Sport and leisure
