Volunteer Coordinator - Homelands Trust-Fife
Created: 08/01/2026
Homelands Trust-Fife is an award-winning charity providing inclusive holiday lodges and a welcoming community hub at the Paxton Centre. Thanks to previous grant funding, they have built a vibrant programme of community activities including craft and art sessions, gardening groups and a much-loved community caf. As a result, their volunteer numbers have grown. Volunteers play a vital role across the cafe, gardening and community activities. To build on this success and sustain momentum, they are creating a new Volunteer Coordinator role.
The role
The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for supporting, developing and growing their volunteer team. This role exists to ensure volunteers feel valued, well-trained and supported, and that their experience at Homelands is positive and rewarding. Working closely with the small staff team, the postholder will improve volunteer induction, training and communication, and help create meaningful volunteer roles that benefit individuals, Homelands' guests and the wider community.
