Costs
This event is free to attend but to encourage attendance and try and ensure a good turnout to benefit all delegates, we will charge a non-attendance fee of £25.00 per delegate. By submitting a booking for this event you agree to pay this fee for those delegates who have places booked but do not attend.
Cancellations can be received up to 5 working days ahead of the event, thus avoiding non-attendance fees. A cancellation will only be valid if we have confirmed it with you. You can send somebody else in place of a booked delegate without incurring a non-attendance fee.
Course Aims:
To help participants develop their ideas, skills, and strategies regarding offering support to volunteers.
Topics to be covered are:
• Support in onboarding
• Volunteer inductions
• Methods of continuous support
• Volunteering development planning
• Recognising and appreciating volunteering
• Managing challenging volunteer situations
• Creating positive endingsWho should attend
Anyone who has, or is expecting to have, responsibility for recruiting or managing volunteers in their organisation. Your organisation should be providing a service in Fife.
In order to offer places to as many organisations as possible, we are only able to offer two places on each date to members of the same organisation. If your organisation would like to send more than 2 people, please get in touch with us to discuss options.

- Notes from the session will be forwarded to all participants who complete a post-training evaluation form that will be e-mailed to you
