    Fairer Life Chances

This funding is for projects that support children, young people and families or help people be healthier and have better access to support.

Projects must meet one of these outcomes:

    • Supporting children, young people and families to thrive
    • Supporting people to have better relationships, connections and physical or mental health

Meeting both outcomes will not improve your chances of getting funding. Projects should also support people experiencing poverty, disadvantage or discrimination.

Your project should be designed with the people you support. You should:

    • Involve them in how it’s developed, delivered and led.
    • Make use of their existing skills and interests.
    • Complement and make connections with other services that support them.

See what The National Lottery are hoping to fund for details and priorities.

How much you can apply for:

The funding is for new or existing projects, from organisations of all sizes and levels of experience.

You can apply for £20,001 to £500,000 for up to 5 years.

    Most grants will be for:

    • £250,000 or less
    • £100,000 if your organisation has not had long-term funding before (2 years or more)

We’ll discuss the length and amount of funding you can apply for when you get in touch.
