Kingdom Off Road Motorcycle Club Awarded Funds to Develop Cardenden Track
Created: 19/11/2025The FCC Communities Foundation Scottish Action Fund have invested funds to help Kingdom Off Road Motorcycle Club improve their community use off-road motorcycle track.
The track provides a legal, controlled environment for people to ride off-road motorcycles. They also use motorcycles to engage young people in community safety group-work sessions, motorcycle maintenance, health and wellbeing, education and practical riding skills.
Various improvements have been made at the track which include:
Facility improvements were tested earlier this year, with the organisation hosting two Scottish Championship Enduro events. The charity had encouraging feedback from individuals and from the sport's governing body.
At their Open Day over 300 people attended and it raised over £3,000 for the charities ongoing work. The local attendance was great and they've seen more enquiries about beginners coaching, which they'll now be able to accommodate. The new all-weather training area will enable them to coach children, young people and adults through the Winter, where previously they would normally have to close.
The charity is now able to generate more income and work towards becoming financially self sufficient. In doing so, they are reducing the dependency on grants, however continuing to deliver and increase their social impact.
Kingdom Off Road Motorcycle Club would like to thank FCC Communities Foundation and their staff and board, for the support and investment.
They have also extended a huge thank you to local company, PRO Industrial Roofing & Cladding Limited who have donated a contribution to the above investment.
