    News/Events Category: Employability

Fife Gingerbread’s Lone Parent Positive Workplaces Project continues to strengthen partnerships with Life Chances and a growing network of inclusive employers across Fife to create meaningful, sustainable jobs for lone parents.

In partnership, Fife Gingerbread is delivering 26-week paid traineeships that combine paid and fair work opportunities with training and wraparound support to help parents thrive.

Current and upcoming placements include opportunities with Greener Kirkcaldy, Fife Sports & Leisure Trust, and education settings across Fife.

This year, Fife Gingerbread have enhanced their Pupil Support Assistant (PSA) Traineeship, developed with education, creating clear career progression pathways and continued support for lone parents while helping schools recruit local talent and build community wealth through sustainable, family-friendly employment.
