    Link Academy is currently accepting referrals for the Moving On Up course, which starts in October in Kirkcaldy. 

    Moving On Up is provides trauma-informed support for 16-19 year olds, offering participants the chance to work on:

    • Confidence building through mental health and wellbeing workshops
    • Volunteering opportunities
    • Completing SCQF Qualifications
    • Gain new skills
    • Build confidence
    • Explore their future goals
    • Connect with others in a supportive environment

    Course details 

    Dates and times: Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday,10.00am - 3.00pm, with one-to-one support on a Friday.  

    Length of course: 10 weeks, starting Monday 13 October 2025

    Eligibility: You must be 16-19 years old

    Location: LinkLiving, West Bridge Mill, Bridge St, Kirkcaldy KY1 1TE

    This course is free to attend, and lunches and refreshments are provided throughout.

    Following a referral, Link Academy will arrange an initial meeting which provides an opportunity for young people to visit the venue, ask questions about the course, and allows the development workers to assess whether the programme is a good fit for their needs.
