Falls Prevention Awareness Week (15–19 September 2025) is a national campaign to raise awareness about the risks of falls and how we can all take steps to prevent them.

Fife Health and Social Care Partnership have collated a guide to local activities, resources, and support available to help people stay active, independent, and safe.

1 in 3 people over 65 will fall at least once a year. Falls are the most common cause of injury-related hospital admissions in older adults. Most falls are preventable with the right support, environment, and activity.
