    The charity trustees operate a grant-giving policy with a view to making annual grants of £350,000.

    The Trustees are particularly interested in supporting the following areas of charitable work:

    • Medical research
    • Care of the elderly
    • Older people and general welfare
    • Hospices
    • The deaf and blind
    • Care of the physically and mentally disabled
    • The Armed Forces

    Exclusions

    The Trustees are unable to support:

    • Individuals
    • Young children and infants
    • Maintenance of buildings at a local level (e.g. churches and village halls)
    • Animal welfare
    • Wildlife and environmental conservation
    • Religious bodies
