The Customer and Community Investment Fund (CCIF) is a funding scheme for community projects. The fund allows LNER to work in partnership with charities, their service users, and the communities located along the LNER route.

The application must support one of the following three priorities:

    1. Better for People: Fostering a culture of equality, that champions diversity and inclusivity. Creating a culture of positive mental health, bringing people and communities together.
    2. Better for Places: Creating skilled and inclusive communities along their networks that can thrive.
    3. Better for Planet: Conserve resources, reduce waste and reuse where possible.

    Who can apply?

Registered charities, community groups, and other not-for-profits which are based within 15 miles of the LNER route, in England and Scotland.

Preference will be given to small and medium charities (between £10,000 - £1million income), over larger charities.
