There are many changes coming to PVG and Disclosure in Scotland on Tuesday 01 April 2025. Make sure you and your organisation are aware of the changes and put steps in place to ensure you're compliant with new laws.
We have created a handy PDF guide to the upcoming changes. This will give you an overview of what's taking place, but we strongly recommend that you do further reading on the subject and attending training and information sessions when you can. For further reading, please visit www.disclosure.gov.scot and www.volunteerscotland.net.
In addition to the changes to the law, there are two important pieces of information:
- The Scottish Government will continue the PVG fee waiver for volunteers - read more
- The Disclosure Scotland fees will remain largely the same from 01 April 2025 - read more
