Family Fund's Discover Digital is a free summer festival for kids. The friendly and interactive festival is a great chance for kids to learn new skills, socialise, and have a good time during the summer holidays.
They've got a range of brand-new, exciting workshops including:
- Create your own badge
- Remix your favourite song
- Learn how to vlog
- Find out about coding
- Plus much more
This year, all children can access all sessions, no matter their age, abilities, and experiences. They also made three of our festival workshops multi-platform, so children can join the session from the device most suited to them (Android tablet, iPad or PC).
Each session will be one hour long, with a qualified trainer leading it, and a Family Fund staff member to support.
The Discover Digital summer festival is free to attend, and they’ll use apps that are free to download onto your iPad.
To attend the sessions, you will need:
- An internet connection
- A device to make your creation on. Depending on the workshop, this can be a smartphone, an Android tablet, an iPad or a PC
- A second device, such as a smartphone, laptop or tablet, to view the workshop on
- The apps that you’ll use in the workshops you are attending. Please check out our FAQ page below for more information about which apps will be useful.
