    Voluntary or community organisations can apply for grants from £20,001 to £75,000 for projects to help support individuals, families, and communities currently experiencing hardship as a result of the cost-of-living increases.

    Applications are especially welcome from smaller voluntary and community organisations who are working with those most vulnerable and disproportionately affected by the increased cost of living.

    This funding programme aims to fund activity that reduces the impact of, or prevents financial insecurity to allow people to:

    • Have more resilience and are more able to identify ways to deal with the impact of increased cost of living in their lives
    • Be able to shape activity in their community to address the increased cost-of-living
    • Have more access to support and services that will help them to deal with the increased cost of living

    Funded activities should:

    • Support individuals, families, and/or communities currently experiencing hardship as a result of cost-of-living increases
    • Increase access to services and support for people facing financial hardship

    You can apply for funding for: 

    • Staff
    • Training
    • Volunteer expenses
    • Equipment
    • Premises costs
    • Evaluation
    • Overheads

    Exemptions 

    • They cannot fund individuals, only projects
    • Mainstream employability support such as job search/access
    • Anything you spend money on before you get a decision from them
    • Activities outside the UK
    • Activities that actively promote religion

    Funding is provided for up to 12 months to deliver or tailor existing services, or to develop new activity.
