    Created: 11/06/2024
News/Events Category: Health and Social Care

To celebrate Carers Week (10-16 June), Thurston Manor Holiday Park is offering a 20% discount on all 2024 breaks booked between now and Sunday 16 June 2024 at Leuchie Glen View, their accessible caravan. Leuchie Glen View is a respite provision that can be used by carers independent of the loved one for whom they care for, or as a getaway for all the family.

Glen View is situated on Thurston Manor Holiday Park on the outskirts of the coastal town of Dunbar in East Lothian. It’s the ideal location to explore Dunbar and nearby coastal town North Berwick or to venture further afield into Edinburgh, North Northumberland or the Scottish Borders. If you wish to stay local and relax then the caravan itself is situated in a quiet area of the park with lovely views across the hills from the caravan’s decked patio.

Glen View is an accessible six berth caravan with two bedrooms (one twin and one double) and a pull-out double sofa bed in the lounge. There is ramped access and a secure decking area which is ideal for either dogs, toddlers, or both. Other features include:

    • Wide access sliding interior doors
    • Wet room
    • Single profiling bed (6ft internal length)
    • Mobile hoist
    • Tilt’n’space shower chair
    • Commode
    • Armchair
    • Patient turner
    • Perch stool
    • Slide board
    • Free onsite Wi-Fi and more

Bookings can be made for 3, 4, 7 or 14 nights. They also welcome dogs.
