Day two of Volunteers' Week 2024 saw the wonderful Fife Volunteering Development Summit take place at New Volunteer House, Kirkcaldy.

The Summit is an engaging learning and development opportunity for anyone in the third sector who involves, supports, and manages volunteers in Fife.

Bringing together many of Fife's voluntary organisations, attendees heard from keynote guest speakers, took part in hot topic discussions, heard the latest updates on volunteering development, and had a chance to network with other volunteer coordinators and managers.

Attendees selected from, and participated in, discussions focused on a diverse range of pressing issues such as promoting inclusion, recruitment best practice, maintaining health and wellbeing, tackling climate action, and youth volunteering - all of which are having a significant impact on volunteering-involving organisations.

Around the room there were cards of appreciation of organisations' volunteers, celebrating the people who make services and organisations run smoothly.
