    News/Events Category: Employability

LinkLiving will host Step On in June an interactive pre-employability and wellbeing programme for 16–19 year olds.

Participants will have the opportunity to work on self-development, improve mental health, and gain employability skills with the help of a dedicated project worker.

Step On will focus on three main areas:

    1. Personal development – Participants will build skills for life, become more independent, and may work towards a community project
    2. Mental health and resilience - A range of mental health sessions will be delivered via group work to help boost confidence and low mood. A variety of sporting partners will deliver activities to promote physical fitness, leadership, and coaching skills
    3. Pre-employment support – Participants will have access to support with employability skills, including CV, application, and interview skills. They can also complete the SCQF Level 4 Employability Award which will help with preparation for employment

Group sessions will be held at the 252 Memorial Centre in Markinch every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday,10:00am – 3:00pm.

One-to-one employability support will be offered to participants on Fridays. All sessions are fun and interactive to allow young people to develop themselves and work on their strengths. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout.
