  We are delighted to announce the sponsors of this year's Volunteering and Voluntary Sector Awards. 

  Our sponsorship partners believe in the power of volunteering and the difference it can make to the the individual and to the community, and they are thrilled to be part of the celebration of volunteers and voluntary organisations across Fife. 

  The sponsors will attend the awards on the evening and present the award for the category they have sponsored. 

   

  Active Schools - Children, Young People and Families sponsor

  

  Fife’s Active Schools team work with primary, secondary, and additional support needs schools to increase the quality and range of opportunities to participate in sport. They also recruit and develop a network of volunteers and coaches, increase the number of young people accessing leadership roles, and support and develop pathways to improve the transition from schools to clubs.

  Fife Sports and Leisure Trust is a non-profit distributing organisation that operates and manages sport and leisure facilities on behalf of Fife Council. They are responsible for the operational management, delivery, and development of Fife Council’s sports and leisure facilities including swimming pools, leisure centres and sports hubs.

  Based in Fife and established for almost fifty years, Kettle Produce Limited is a market leader for fresh and prepared vegetables. They are one of Fife’s largest private sector employers, with 1,100 employees across both of their Fife sites at Balmalcolm and Orkie.

  Their core products are roots, prepared vegetables, salads and brassicas such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower.   Founded in the 15th century, St Andrews is Scotland's first university and the third oldest in the English speaking world. The University works across the region, running outreach projects and activities from the academic schools, cultural outlets including the Wardlaw Museum and Laidlaw Music Centre, and widening access programmes in senior schools across the Kingdom. 

  University staff and students spend much of their own time helping others by volunteering in their community - from leading cub and beaver packs to helping local charities or supporting environmental improvements.
