    Square Start is the first BRAG project to offer full family support. First launched in May 2021 and funded by Opportunities Fife's No One Left Behind Strategy, this project is innovative as sessions are held mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, to suit the demands of family life. and support Scottish Governments Best Start ambitions.

    Our Square Start project offers full family support for the residents of Dunfermline, Southwest and Northeast Fife. Offering activities for all members of the family, we provide direction, guidance, and support to allow the families to flourish and have confidence they can have a positive future.

    Square Start offers one to one support for parents and whole family wellbeing and can assist with:

    • Help with social isolation
    • Mental health issues
    • Budgeting
    • Cooking healthy on a budget
    • Housing support
    • Employability development

    You can make a referral for someone, or make a self-referral.
