At the Music For All Charity they believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to play music. They make grants available to address the musical needs of community music groups and educational organisations.
They support projects and initiatives taking place throughout the UK that all aim to bring music to their community and would benefit from a “helping hand” to fulfil their potential in becoming truly sustainable music programmes.
Grants are available under a number of different categories, each with their own criteria and award amounts.
The award categories are:
- BBB Trust Award
- Working with primary-school aged children
- Chronic diseases and conditions affecting quality of life
- Working with groups with mental health challenges and/or affected by loneliness/isolation
- Working with communities from the Global Majority, in collaboration with Black Lives in Music
- Physical mobility or accessibility needs
Fund award sizes
Annually awarded: £94,351
Notes on award amounts: Annual total for UK for organisations from 2023 accounts. Award sizes depend on the funding category you are applying for.
