The Big Help Out aims to raise awareness of volunteering throughout the UK and provide opportunities for people to experience volunteering and make a difference in their communities. It's not a profit-making or fundraising initiative.

In 2023, six million people joined in with The Big Help Out to lend a hand in their communities and experience how rewarding volunteering can be.

Over seven million people said they were more likely to volunteer as a result of seeing The Big Help Out in action.

This year The Big Help Out will take place over the weekend of 07-09 June 2024, during Volunteers' Week, and they hope more people than ever will be lending a hand.

You can take part this year and give your time to a good cause.
