NCVO have guidance on their website to help answer questions about volunteers and training.

Training is one way to make sure your volunteers are prepared and can carry out their role. It's the organisation's responsibility to train its volunteers, and if their training is good, volunteers are more likely to continue in their role. It may also help to enhance their CVs or develop new skills.

    Read the guidance here.

If you need support to train volunteers, please get in touch with FVA by e-mail [email protected] or call 0800 389 6046 and selection option 1 for volunteering.
