National Lottery Funding Programme closes 21 August 2024

News/Events Category: Funding and FinanceThe National Lottery funding programme will close some of their programmes of 21 August 2024. These include the Community Led, Improving Lives, and Cost of Living Support Scotland funds, which will close to funding at 11.59am on Wednesday 21 August 2024.
The National Lottery Community Fund recently unveiled their UK-wide strategy - It starts with community. They are currently developing new funding programmes which will align with the ambitions of this strategy whilst meeting the emerging needs of the communities they serve in Scotland.
As part of this work, they will close the aforementioned funds and launch their new funding programmes in November 2024.
National Lottery Awards For All, Young Start, and Scottish Land Fund will remain open to applications with no closing date.
What this means for groups
- If you've already submitted an application to Community Led, Improving Lives or Cost of Living Support Scotland funds, it will be assessed as usual
- If you already have an application form but haven't applied yet, they advise you to apply as soon as possible. If you're no longer going to apply or are unsure about timescales for this, you should contact your funding officer
- If you were considering applying to one of these programme but haven't discussed this with National Lottery or requested an application form yet, you should contact them as soon as possible so the funding officer in your area can advise you
- If you have an existing grant under one of these programme which you wish to continue, you should speak to your funding officer if you've not already done so
