FVAWP - See Me, Not My Mask (Supporting adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse)
Created: 19/03/2024The World Health Organisation stated that 20% of women and 5% of men are sexually abused as children. Only a small percentage of sexual crimes against children are ever detected, recorded, or prosecuted. It is important that practitioners feel equipped to respond to a disclosure from a survivor in a manner they deserve and know where to signpost to.
