The festival is designed to raise awareness of the climate emergency, show what we can all do to make a difference and celebrate the great climate action work already happening within Fife.
Who Can Participate?
Any community group based in Fife, or any national group with activities in Fife. Your main group purpose does not have to be solely climate change, but you do need to, directly or indirectly, be working towards a more sustainable world.
Where Is The Festival Taking Place?
Events will take place all across Fife, as well as some online events.
What Activities Can Form Part Of The Festival?
Any activity that promotes climate friendly or environmental action and gets people talking about climate! These can be events or projects you already host or a brand-new event you decide to arrange specifically for the occasion.
Events can include but are not limited to:- Active travel events – cycle training, rides, repair or walks
- Repair cafés
- Swapping events – think clothes, toys, seeds, tools
- Growing sessions
- Climate friendly cooking demonstrations
- Tree planting days
- Nature activities
- Open days
- Film screenings
- Talks or climate conversation events
The festival takes place Saturday 24 February - Sunday 03 March 2024.
