LinkLiving is now accepting referrals and will be looking to set up initial meetings with young people before the Christmas break.

    Moving On Up

    • This is a personal development programme for 16-19 year olds with no positive destination
    • The course runs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 10.00am-3.00pm, with the opportunity to attend on Wednesdays for 1-2-1 support
    • Young people will work on confidence building through mental health and wellbeing workshops, volunteering opportunities, and completing the SCQF Level 4 Personal Development Award
    • The course runs in three month blocks and the next intake will be at the beginning of January 2024
    • This course is most suitable for those with anxiety and requiring help making decisions about next steps
    • The course will be tailored to suit individuals taking part

    • This course looks at wellbeing and how physical activity can be helpful in looking after mental health. It will also cover pre-employability skills, and participants will complete the SCQF Level 4 Employability Award, work on developing their skills, adn receive help with CV, applications etc.
    • Like Moving On Up (above), the course runs in three month blocks and the next intake will be January 2024
    • This is most suitable for those who may be a bit closer to going into employment or other training
    • Participants don't need to be sporty to take part but it would be useful for those who like football and other sports too

Both courses run for 12 weeks in a group setting, based at LinkLiving's premises in West Bridge Mill, Kirkcaldy.
