    Aims

    This workshop will equip trainers with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and resources to discuss and raise awareness of the nature and impact of poverty in Fife through the delivery of the 1.5 hour introductory digital Poverty Awareness Information Session workshop.

    Trainer Criteria

    All successful trainers will be expected to deliver two workshops in a 12 month period, and at least one of these must be through the Health Promotion Training Programme. Other workshops can be delivered within your own organisation or locally and support with facilitation is available.

    Learner Outcomes

    By the end of the course participants will have:

    • The knowledge and skills to be able to deliver the Poverty Awareness Information Session workshop
    • Access to step-by-step facilitator guidance on the delivery of the Poverty Awareness Information Session workshop
    • Various tools and techniques to enable successful digital delivery of the Poverty Awareness Information Session workshop
    • The ability to identify what individuals, professionals, and services can do to raise awareness of the nature and impact of poverty
    • Guidance and information on clear pathways for delivery and how to gain support from other trainers

    Who should attend?

    This workshop is suitable for practitioners across all sectors who would like to raise awareness of the nature and impact of poverty with others. They must have attended the digital Poverty Awareness Information Session workshop (accessible through this Training Programme) and have experience of training delivery.
