    Do you work in social care? Care Inspectorate need your help to develop the current informed and skilled levels of the health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019 Knowledge and Skills Framework. 

    In preparation for the enactment of the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019 the Health and care staffing in Scotland : a knowledge and skills framework has been developed to reflect the guiding principles for health and care staffing. It will support you in understanding the requirements of workload and workforce planning.

    As a result, there is a series of webinars to increase awareness of the framework and education resources developed for the Informed and Skilled levels of the framework.Staff and managers working in social care can attend the workshops. Please share the information with your teams and organisations! 

    The webinar: 

    • Lasts 45 minutes 
    • Will include an introduction to the domains in each level, with the opportunity to comment and feedback to help them understand if the resources are useful for your practice, are accessible in length and language, and if you have any suggestions or specific needs that could inform future development

    Prior to attending, please:

    The module will cover Quality Assurance and Governance in relation to safe and effective staffing. Principles and processes associated with Quality Management, including quality measures and risk management, management, will be outlined, along with decision-making and accountability.
