    As part of the Scottish Government’s National Drugs Mission, funding has been made available through three funds which are now open to applications:  

    • Improvement Fund (closing at 13.00 on Tuesday 28 November 2023)
    • Local Support Fund (rolling grant programme)
    • Local support Fund - Micro Grants (rolling grant programme)

    Improvement Fund
    The Improvement Fund is designed to provide additional resource to organisations that support people who use drugs, people in recovery, and their families. It aims to support projects which provide fast and appropriate access to treatment and care, and which take collaborative, rights-based approaches to support people so that they can easily access the right support at the right time.

    • Fund now open. The fund will close to applications at 13.00 on Tuesday 28 November 2023
    • Funding of up to £200,000 per year for up to three years, for Residential Rehabilitation and associated services
    • Continuation funding of up to £100,000 per year for up to three years is available to projects not linked to Residential Rehabilitation, that were funded for one or two years in previous funding rounds
    • Open to public sector organisations, charities, social enterprises, community groups and other voluntary organisations that have independent governance and an asset lock
    • All applications require a letter of support from the ADP Lead or Chief Officer

    Local Support Fund
    The Local Support Fund is focused on community-based organisations delivering frontline services to support people who use drugs, people who are in recovery and their families. It aims to facilitate rights-based, relational support for people so that they can easily access the right support at the right time.

    • Fund now open. This is a rolling fund until all funds have been committed
    • Continuation funding of up to £50,000 per year for up to three years
    • Open to organisations with an annual income of up to £500,000 that were previously funded through the Local support Fund for one or two years
    • Applicants can be charities, social enterprises, community groups and other voluntary organisations

    Local Support Fund – Micro Grants
    The Local Support Fund – Micro Grants is focused on small community-based groups delivering frontline services to support people who use or used drugs, people in recovery and/or families affected by someone else’s drug use.

    • Fund now open. This is a rolling fund until all funds have been committed
    • Funding from £1,000 to £20,000 per year for up to three years
    • Micro grants are for organisations with an annual income of up to £50,000
    • Applicants can be charities, social enterprises or constituted community/voluntary groups that operate on a not-for-profit basis

    An online information session about the Local Support Fund and LSF Micro Grants will take place at 13.30 on Wed 01 November 2023.. Please register via Eventbrite for the session. The session will be recorded and posted on their website.
     
    Corra Foundation encourages applications from organisations which support Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority communities and other under-represented groups. They will run an online information session specifically for these organisations 20.00-21.00 on Tuesday 08 November 2023. Please register via Eventbrite for this session.
