Social Enterprise Scotlandwill host Collaboration in Procurement, an online event that explores procurement opportunities for social enterprises.
A significant number of social enterprises are interested in public sector procurement, and some are hugely successful in this area. However, for many, there remain significant barriers. Collaboration is one way to enable more social enterprises to participate in public sector procurement.
JoinSocial Enterprise Scotlandat this session to hear how Enable Scotland's 'collaboration over competition' approach has allowed them to develop highly successful employability services.
Participants will hear how a variety of partners focus and prioritise a partnership approach, how to find partners with shared values, and how to ensure top quality service delivery.
Participants will also hear from their social enterprise partners on their experience within a consortia approach, how they add value and expertise, and what they needed to do - on a practical level - to be 'partner ready'.
This will be a great opportunity to share good practice about procurement, collaboration, and employability service provision, and there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
