Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing for Adults, Year 3 Funding
Created: 29/09/2023The Communities Mental Health And Wellbeing Fund for Adults (The Fund) was established in October 2021, and to date has distributed around £36 million to community initiatives supporting mental health and wellbeing across Scotland.
Funding for a third year was announced by the Scottish Government in April 2023.
The Fund has a strong focus on prevention and early intervention, and aims to support grass roots community groups in tackling mental health inequalities and challenges such as isolation and loneliness, suicide prevention, poverty and inequality. Year 3 will see a continued focus on responding to the cost-of-living crisis.
The fund is delivered and managed by FVA in Fife.
