This session will look at what your organisation needs to have in place to make effective approaches to potential supporters and funders. The session will describe the funding landscape in Scotland and share three models and theories of fundraising.
The session will look at:

- The fundraising landscape in Scotland:

- How much do they have?
- Who gets the money?
- How much does it cost to raise?
- Three models and theories of fundraising:
- The Onion
- The Pyramid
- The Seven Steps
- Resources to start supporting your fundraising.
This session, which will be delivered by Pam Judson, an associate of SCVO, is suitable for volunteers, as well as management committee members and staff who are new to fundraising or for those people looking to refresh their knowledge of the basics of fundraising.
