  • Scottish Government - Sectoral Just Transition Plans – Call For Engagement

    Created: 29/08/2023
    News/Events Category: Governance
    This item will show under the following categories: Climate/Environment   Employability

    In June, the Scottish Government published discussion papers relating to the development of the draft Just Transition Plans for Transport, Land Use and Agriculture, and Built Environment & Construction.

    Scottish Government wants to use these papers to help gather the views of those impacted by the transition to Net Zero.

    As part of a wider programme of engagement, Scottish Government is running a small number of online and in-person sessions aimed at input specifically from the business community.

    The sessions will be an opportunity for businesses and workers to:

    • Get involved in the early stages of the Scottish Government’s just transition planning approach;
    • Contribute to policy development, and;
    • Raise any areas that you feel the just transition plans should consider.
