They are vital to keeping Silverburn beautiful. Tasks include the removal of invasive species and weeds, planting trees and shrubs, litter-picking and much more.
As the horticulture project lead, you will work with volunteers to regenerate the walled garden, and wider areas of Silverburn Park Estate. You’ll have experience and knowledge of ornamental gardening and a wealth of experience in community horticulture. You’ll organise and supervise the volunteers doing practical tasks throughout the park. Working closely with the Volunteer Progression Officer (VPO), you will support volunteers in their progression towards qualifications through SQA, John Muir and other awards.
