  • DWP supported courses in English for speakers of other languages

    The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will soon start delivering English courses online for speakers of other languages - abbreviated to ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages).

    The first course starts on Wednesday 31 May 23 with more courses to follow, dates for further courses are not yet confirmed

    Customer must be in receipt of DWP benefits and referred by Work Coach. The aim of the course is to improve English – covering all levels of current language skills with opportunities to practice conversational skills.
