    Do you want to find out more about community advocacy in a public health and health inequalities context and what this means to your role?

    Community advocacy is a preventative and proactive approach that supports people to be active citizens and self-advocate in relation to decisions affecting their lives.

    This workshop is facilitated by Public Health Scotland and delivered by Voluntary Health Scotland. It covers;

    1. How advocacy can mitigate the impact of health inequalities.
    2. Increase your confidence in identifying and working with communities.
    3. Gain ideas for your own community advocacy role.

    The format will be an interactive learning session with a mix of presentations, group exercises and sharing experiences with peers.

    This online workshop takes place from 10:00 - 12:00 on 01 February 2023. Book a place here.
