Salary: £10.50 per hour
Hours: Permanent post – 28 hours per week Shift Pattern - 10am to 2pm and 6pm to 10pm daily. Shifts are to be arranged between PA team and employer.
Location: Rosyth
Contract: Permanent
Qualifications required: Previous experience of working within the care sector with a previous working knowledge of providing personal care.
Essential requirements: Clean driving licence. This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
SDS Options Fife seeks to recruit a Personal Assistant to assist a 63 year old woman who is bedbound with personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts and light housework.
The client's interests are Crime TV programmes, Crime books, Medical TV programmes, medical books and the News.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, a good sense of humour, and be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. They must have experience working with people with a disability and experience supporting someone with personal care.
Applicants must also be comfortable working in a smoking environment.
You must have a sense of humour and be passionate about the job. The client is a smoker and you will be working in her home so applicants must be comfortable working in a smoking environment.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
