Illness is an ordinary part of everyday life and we all may be absent from work for periods of time through ill health. Sometimes, an illness can leave us struggling to adapt to the workplace when we return, and occasionally employers are unaware of how best to support their staff to return to work following an illness.

Define returning to work after an illness roles and responsibilities;
Examine case study examples and further considerations;
