FVA lunchtime learning sessions are aimed at raising the skills and capacities of local service providers interested in improving or enhancing their provision in Fife.
Illness is an ordinary part of everyday life and we all may be absent from work for periods of time through ill health. Sometimes, an illness can leave us struggling to adapt to the workplace when we return, and occasionally employers are unaware of how best to support their staff to return to work following an illness.
At this session, Paula Donaldson from Fife IPS and Alison Ramsay and Amy Brown from Health Promotion Service at Fife Health and Social Care Partnership will:
- Highlight barriers and enablers to returning to work after an illness;
- Define returning to work after an illness roles and responsibilities;
- Examine case study examples and further considerations;
- Signpost to local and national support services.
