Scottish Sport Futures (SSF) is an organisation that uses the power of sport and physical activity to engage disadvantaged young people.

It will soon launch programme 2 of Active:2:Grow which is in partnership with SAMH. It is a physical activity mental health programme for young people aged 11-14.

This programme runs for 48 weeks and uses sport and physical activity as part of a wider tool kit to support mental health and wellbeing. Young people can expect to come to sessions and play games, learn different sports, and get active as well as gain a toolkit to support their own mental health. The team has trips running throughout the year and the programme is absolutely free.

It is a referral-based programme, and we are currently accepting new referrals, hence why I am contacting yourself. If you know of any young people aged 11-14 that would benefit from the Active:2:Grow programme, then the team would love to hear from you.

The programme is starting on the w/c 11 July and sessions are limited to 15 young people per session so please do not delay in sending in referrals. Access the referral form here.

If you would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact myself or India at [email protected]
