Fife Employment Access Trust (FEAT) - Peer Support Workers
Created: 16/11/2021Post: Peer Support Workers
Fife Employment Access Trust (FEAT) is looking for two enthusiastic Peer Support Workers to engage with and support its clients experiencing mental health challenges; develop their understanding of recovery, using your own experience and insight to support, empower and instil hope.
You will support clients through their recovery journey and help them to identify and progress towards their goals. Able to share personal experiences, you will work as part of a team to support clients on an individual and group basis. You will have a good awareness of community resources and be able to signpost and network to make referrals. You will help clients overcome barriers to progression, offering support and guidance, using the CHIME model. Due to the short timescale the pilot will run - December or January to June 2022, applicants should already possess the skills and experience required.
For informal enquiries about the post, or to request an application pack, please contact Wendy Barbour - [email protected] / 07736 901 022 or visit FEAT's website where you can download an application pack. Completed applications should be returned to [email protected] by 12:00 on Monday 22 November.
