FVA supports Disability Sport Fife
Created: 21/04/2021, Updated: 22/04/2021Our FVA team is equipped with a wide range of skills and expertise that allows us to provide support to third sector organisations in Fife in areas such as governance, funding, legislation, policy, volunteering, management, planning and problem solving (and much more!).
Recently members of our team assisted Disability Sport Fife's (DSF) to become an SCIO - by guiding them through the registration process, creating a constitution that is fit for purpose, and with payroll support.
We wanted to share with you some feedback from Richard Brickley (OBE MBE), chairman DSF, on how our services helped his team:

"In the last few years, Disability Sport Fife has benefited immensely from the expertise and support of Fife Voluntary Action. FVA staff members guided Disability Sport Fife through the SCIO registration process and the creation of a constitution that is fit for purpose and truly reflects the wide range of activities we offer. FVA further supported DSF this past year as we have taken on the responsibility of employing a staff member for the first time, without the support of our parent body Scottish Disability Sport.
Disability Sport Fife recognises the importance of strong partnerships and during the short time we have worked with FVA, we have come to appreciate the range of services and advice that FVA staff can offer.
