Step into Volunteering! New training for those looking to volunteer

News/Events Category: FVA NewsWe're delighted to announce that later this month we will launch a new online Volunteer Training for anyone considering volunteering and wanting to find out more about what is involved.
Volunteering has so many positive benefits for those involved and we know that volunteering has been at the heart and soul of communities during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
The training consists of three online 2.5-hour weekly sessions delivered over three weeks. It is a fantastic opportunity for you to find out more about volunteering and to help prepare you for your first steps into a volunteering role. On completion of the training, you will receive a certificate detailing the training you have attended. We would hope that the training will also add to your current skill set and will be beneficial for your personal development.
It will also be a good opportunity to meet and chat with others who are considering volunteering and alleviate any anxieties you may have about getting involved.
Please keep an eye on our e-bulletins, social media channels, and website for further information and training dates. It is easy to sign up and, as always, our team is here to help answer any questions you may have prior to attending the training.
